BorgWarner’s Technologies Help Winners and Finalists Improve Fuel Economy, Emissions and Performance

Auburn Hills, Michigan, January 12, 2015 – The 2015 North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year winners—Volkswagen Golf and Ford F-150, respectively—feature advanced technologies from BorgWarner. In addition, BorgWarner provides systems and components for all of the finalists in the annual competition, including the Ford Mustang, Hyundai Genesis, Chevrolet Colorado, and Lincoln MKC.

The North American Car and Truck/Utility Awards honor vehicles for setting new benchmarks in design, safety, innovation and value. Selected by an independent jury of 57 automotive journalists representing magazines, television, radio, newspapers and websites from the United States and Canada, winners were announced during the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
