Position Summary

Ensures an ongoing and smooth logistics operation with optimal use of resources. Supervises a team of PC&L associates to continually improve safety, quality, and delivery performance while collaborating cross-functionally to achieve business results.

Standard Duties :  

  • Responsible to manage customer requirements within ERP system, create and maintain a healthy customer relationship. Direct and drive shipments to customer per schedule.
  • Creates, communicates, and monitors daily production plan for assigned area.
  • Manage supplier planning and inventory per production schedule and policy.
  • Maintain and support inventory accuracy activities.
  • Organizes material flow and inventory to reach production targets and process goals.
  • Works with warehouse and operation team to assure correct material flow.
  • Responsible to achieve performance indicators specific to Safety, Customer Delivery Performance, Inventory Accuracy, and Order Fulfillment to Plant PC&L functions.
  • Ensures layered audits are completed and PC&L processes are being followed consistently.
  • Evaluates staffing needs to optimize individual performance and job responsibilities to drive cost and efficiency.
  • Execute continuous improvement activities as set by management.
  • Consistently applies and executes policies and organizational standards.
  • Sets a high standard for safety by executing Safety Absolutes guiding principles and ensures all equipment is routinely maintained.
  • Partners with training team on training needs for PC&L associates across multiple departments on various shifts.
  • Manages performance reviews and time keeping for area managed.
  • Coach and develop team leaders and members while holding actions accountable.
  • Analyze PC&L data and take appropriate action for continuous improvement.
  • Execution of PC&L Strategies and key supply chain strategies.

Minimum Education Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related (Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, etc.) discipline preferred.

Minimum Requirement

  • 5 plus years of experience in manufacturing related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience supervising employees in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to train a team of material handling staff.
  • 2+ years experience in a logistics environment.
  • 2+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years experience with direct reports (managing people).
  • Experience with computer technology and basic Microsoft Office skill
  • SAP, E-Kanban, PIT Certification preferred
