Job purpose

Support manufacturing operations team in EOL Valves area needs .

Location

Viana do Castelo, Portugal

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support production valves lines in EOL (machinery and equipments)
  • Work to find root cause for rejected parts in EOL
  • Support valves troubleshooting analysis (warranties and claims) 
  • Support in the interpretation, processing and analysis of electrical test results/data
  • Serve as an intermediary between applications engineering, technical centers and production
  • Participate in the EOL Global Council for EGR Valves
  • Support in Industrialization/Launching of new projects
  • Respect the safety and cleanliness rules of the workplace
  • Comply with safety standards, quality, productivity and hygiene
  • Participate actively in the continuous improvement of the environmental system management
  • Comply with the organization's rules and internal regulations such as Ethics Code
  • Perform other tasks not included in the activity for which he was hired, when needs or service convenience warranted for a period of time defined as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS OR REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree on a technical engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electhronics, etc)
  • Basic knowledge in mechanics  Knowledge in LabView (valued) 
  • Knowledge in Programmable Sensors (valued) 
  • Knowledge in Motor Control and Operation (valued) 
  • Knowledge in Algorithm and Programming Languages
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (valued)
  • Knowledge of line production environment in the automobile industry (valued)
  • IT user skills
  • English skills (valued)
  • Proficiency level of Portuguese
  • Eligibility for a professional Internship by Portuguese law
