The Simulation Engineer Electronics circuits will be focused on creation of simulation circuits and models and day-to-day support for the developing team to assist engineers in designing, characterizing, and testing various aspects of automotive products 

Key responsibilities

  • modeling, simulating and analysis of electronic circuits and systems to meet technical product requirements /or circuit design
  • Perform the electrical debug, test, characterization, and verification of electronic designs
  • Specifying, identifying, and testing of key, critical electrical components
  • Support BorgWarner product development team with technical design analysis, trade off studies, and design reviews
  • development of simulation models for internal use

What we’re looking for

  • Masters’ degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in Automotive Electronic or e-Mobility Engineering
  • Knowledge of relevant EMC standards, standing orders and legal requirements
  • Knowledge in the field of theoretical electrical engineering and electrodynamics
  • Capable to apply relevant simulation tools and methods
  • Experience in a lab environment with electrical circuits preferred
  • Work in a diversified team, where strong cross-team and cross-domain communication skills are key
  • Fluency in English and German is required
