Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages and motivate validation laboratory staff which comprised of both Engineering and Technician roles
• Lead and manage validation team to plan and execute Product Validation tests.
• Lead in development of new technology test capability and processes.
• Lead in problem solving of validation test issue relating to test setup and equipment.
• Support new business plans by active involvement in cost, capability & capacity study by identifying new technology and development of new capability
• Manage all validation programs
• Manage projects in planning, development, and test execution in validation laboratory.
• Budget and Forecast owner for the cost center
• Plan and consolidate lab capital equipment procurement and installation.
• Meets Department Cost and Quality objectives.
• Improve lab test process to balance Validation Quality and Cost, continually execute Validation Cost Modeling actions to reduce cost.
• Manage and administer quality activities to ensure compliance to ISO 17025.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, and best practices are followed, documented, and followed by Local Validation Engineering. Provides input if necessary.
• Report to and participate in global staff initiatives for Validation

Essential requirements:

• 5 years+ engineering experience, preferably in validation or design engineering
• Bachelor degree, preferably in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
• Laboratory Management Experience is an advantage
• Experience managing direct reports in an engineering setting
• Demonstrated ability in project management
• Good communication skills are essential
• Fluency in English and Polish is required. German/French would be an advantage

Nice to have:

• Experience in Test and Validation of complex system (Software and Hardware) is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of Programming in C/C++, LabView, TestStand, and LabWindows. Microprocessor & electronics knowledge.
• Experience working in automotive
• Experienced in Excel VBA macro development.
