KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develop unit and integration level test plans and perform associated testing both on bench and in target applications
Implementation of hardware designs to automotive quality expectations utilizing existing development environments and processes.
Work with production to ensure design for manufacturing and test criteria are met.
Responsibility for creation of detailed hardware requirements documentation based on customer and internal specifications, reviews and clarifications.
Interface as required with external development partners
Support meetings internally and with customers to discuss test plans and test issues
New specification analysis together with the mechanical design department.
Develop schematics for electronic components given the dimensions and taken the specifications from the customer.
PCB Layout development, follow and test first PCB prototypes working with software developers.
Work with the team to attach new business on electrical product, like Ignition Coil,Heaters…. Provide suitable technical solution to meet customer requirement.
Strictly abide the EHS rules and regulations and behavior guide line in the plant; wear PPE in right way; actively participate in EHS training; do housekeeping at work; report accidents and unsafe issues immediately join the accident disposal. Specific presentation can be reached in TMS system and individual job description.
Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
BS degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent, M.S. Preferred
Min 3 years’ experience in electronic design in an automotive environment.
Design of high voltage products (450V to 1200V)
Experience designing with IGBTs
Experience of creepage and clearance specifications for high voltage design IEC 60664
Experience with C-programming for embedded systems
Experience with 8-bit microprocessors
Knowledge of EMC requirements, testing and compliance
Experience of PCB design, Analog and Digital circuitry.
Knowledge of CAN & LIN Bus vehicle communications
Knowledge of circuit simulation tools / SPICE.
Ability to understand development from requirements through to unit and integration test
Experience of working with external development resources
Ability to translate customer specific requirements into technical specifications
Excellent communications and organizational skills
Knowledge and experience of ISO TS 16949 compliance
