BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as MRP Controller Supervisor at our new production plant in Viana, Portugal.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage vendor planning team to make sure schedule mgt and waterfall analysis are performed according defined strategy.
  • Manage to proactive communication flow with Vendors to ensure correct Supplier tracking (Schedule Commitments & ASN).
  • Lead implementation of Logistic agreement with Vendors.
  • Responsible for managing Demand vs Coverage control at Raw material level.
  • Ensure regular supervision of master data in ERP system to be in alignment with agreed strategy.
  • In charge for Transportation & related costs.
  • Work to identify and mitigate risks, as well execute improvement plans.
  • Comply with the organization's rules and internal regulations: Code of Ethics, practice and working period
  • Respect workplace safety and cleanliness rules
  • Respect and comply with the rules of the Environmental Management Policy, Safety and Health at Work
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement of the Environmental Management Policy, Safety and Health at Work
  • Comply with safety, quality, productivity, hygiene and environmental prevention standards
  • Comply with the organization's rules and internal regulations: Code of Ethics, Practice and Schedule
  • Respect workplace safety and cleanliness rules
  • Respect and comply with environmental policy rules
  • Perform other tasks not included in the activity for which he was hired, when the needs or convenience of the service justify it, for the period necessary for the said needs or conveniences of service

Education & Experience    

  • Bachelor 's Degree in Supply Chain Management/Engineering/Business Management or equivalent is required
  • 5 years + of Vendor planning experience working in an automotive production environment
  • Experience in automotive and /or EMS industry is an advantage
  • Negotiation Experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office application
  • Enthusiastic, flexible and keen approach to learning, etc.
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Critical Analysis Skills
  • Structured individual with good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and able to deal with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize work accordingly
  • Must be able to work alone with minimum guidance, but also be able to operate effectively as part of a team.
  • Must be self-motivated/directed.
  • Requires minimal management input to achieve objectives.
  • Portuguese & English Fluent
  • Available to travel
