Scope / Focus

Account manager who is responsible for promoting ICE & eProducts to the customer to achieve the maximum profitable sales for the assigned account. As the Sales Account Manager, the individual is responsible for promoting the BorgWarner products to the customer, establish customer relationships, engage in potential new business opportunities, and work towards achieving the expected Sales revenue. The planning and control of his/her activities should be done with minimal supervision.

Experience

  • More than 3 year experience in Sales or customer interface related activity preferred.
  • Working experience w/ global colleagues in English to accomplish tasks preferred

Skill Requirements.

  • Good communication capability with both customer and internal members
  • Strong in interpersonal savvy skills
  • Proactive and Action Oriented
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication capability
  • Fluent in Japanese language
  • English communication skill: Capable to communicate (written and verbal) at the minimum required level with foreigners in English.
  • Computer skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel as min.)
  • Report in correct timing

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Follow activities at the customer and establish and nurture key customer relationships.
  • Work with other functional areas (i.e. Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance) to obtain engineering data, delivery dates, customer account data, and cost estimates.

Maintain contact with management, the Customers’ Purchasing, Engineering, Production Control, and Receiving/Inspection Departments and obtain feedback pertaining to competitor pricing, products, quality, and delivery.
